About Pigeon Creek Farm
Pigeon Creek is a family farm located in the rolling
hills of northern Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Our mission is to provide delicious, wholesome milk straight from our happy cows to your table.
Mike and Abby have been dedicated to dairy farming since their teenage years. Abby brings years of experience in cow care and milk production, while Mike’s expertise lies in farm maintenance and field work. Together, they keep Pigeon Creek Farm running smoothly.
Ruth, affectionately known as "Grams," is the heart and soul of our farm store. She's always ready to greet customers and share a friendly chat.
Danny, our dedicated landscaper and chicken caretaker, keeps the farm beautiful. He takes great pride in his work here, and loves greeting customers.
Lily and Heidi, the third generation of Pigeon Creek Farmers, help with the farm’s daily operations while also pursuing their passion for showing cattle. Lily lends a hand with everything from milking to calf care. Heidi is a great help for just about anything, and can be found bottling milk or covering the Farm Store.
Exceptionally small scale farming.
Sustainable farming practices are at the center of Pigeon Creek Farm. As a micro dairy milking fewer than 20 cows, we maintain healthy soil with fewer animals per acre.
Exceptionally good products.
Our Farm Store is stocked with our own fresh, raw and pasteurized milk, handcrafted cheese, and a variety of other locally sourced products, including meat and baked goods.
Our family bought a neglected community farm in the summer of 2019. We had big dreams to bring locally sourced food to our neighborhood, and with years of experience in the dairy industry it was the natural fit.
It took tremendous effort to bring the land back to good health and the buildings back to stable working structures. It was a beautiful sight to see everything turn around from looking lost forever to a fully operational farm again.
The community has been with us every step of the way, supporting us as we grew from a few cows to a barn full of sixteen cows producing milk. We opened our Farm Store full of locally sourced products in 2020.
Pigeon Creek Farm has become a hub of the community for fresh food, social connections, and so much more. Stop by the Farm Store for a visit!
